Wow I did not sleep enough at all last night. I think it had something to do with a mix of some stress at work and staying up too late the night before. Mary thinks it's just me, but I don't get dark circles under my eyes unless I use mascara.
The Susanmobile and I were planning to catch up today in the morning, but as I said I was tired, so for some reason I fumbled my way through waking up too late, and then was in a rush to get myself ready. Took a shower, whipped out my hairdryer, and whipped out my towel, and whipped out my bowl of cereal. The last one I realized was a mistake, and my window now has milky cornflakes running down it. I ran down to the basement and said good morning Mary how are you? I stuck out my hand towards the shelves as I turned the corner, and looked up. I couldn't figure out why the books were getting larger. Then it hit me. Mary said Mom what are you doing back there? I said reading, apparently.
I tried to finish combing my hair as Mary was driving, and I think I did an alright job actually. When we reached the cafe, the S was there all bright and beaming. Probably she had radiation exposure like the twelfth. I said hey Susan! She said Livi there's something in your hair.
Oh no. Was it a bee? I stood still for a minute, then Susan said no it's a comb or something. So I put my hand to the back of my head, and there it was. I said ah well you never know when you need it.
We went in and got some coffee and cake, but Susan seemed concerned for me, I don't know why. She said Livi are you feeling alright today? I said yeah, why? She said well you seem uh... I said tired? Yeah well I didn't get to sleep for a while, but it's all good, I get to catch up with you! I'm good at sleeping though. I can do it with my eyes closed. But still she was looking at my face. I said what it is? She said well Livi do you think if you don't mind me saying, did you draw your eyebrows too high? I thought about it for a while, then Susan said Livi, you look surprised.
